| ABOUT RAE GUEST: Rae was a professional flat jockey before taking up training flat racehorses in Newmarket, the 'Headquarters' of British flat racing, in 1988/9. He has achieved quality successes with a relatively small string, which has been expanding since the purchase of his larger, modern yard in Hamilton Road, Newmarket in May 1998. Rae trained SERIOUS ATTITUDE in 2008 – 2010 for owner Derek Willis. She is a fantastic horse who has outperformed all expectations being unbeaten at two, graduating from a maiden at Windsor to winning the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket. She was a leading fancy for the 2009 1,000 Guineas but failed to stay the mile. She proved that she had trained on, however, by winning the Group 3 Summer Stakes at York over six furlongs in July 2009 and remains in training in 2010. Proof that it is possible to buy a Group 1 winner for just 7,500 guineas. Please call Rae on the above numbers for more details. Tours and no obligation visits always welcome. RAE GUEST, RACEHORSE TRAINER - CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: BACKGROUND WHAT THE PAPERS SAID ABOUT RAE GUEST: "Not the gushy type, he appeals to the 'what you see is what you get' approach. As one seasoned professional said 'If you want a clown, you go to Billy Smarts, with Rae you get a straightforward deal - and of how many of them can you truthfully say that?' (Alistair Down) In 2003 MISS ANABAA won Listed and Group 3 races and My Emma’s daughter MOMENTS OF JOY
won a Listed race and went on to finish fifth in the St Leger on her third start. In 2004, the bargain
5,000 guinea filly BAHIA BREEZE went on to gain Listed honours in the Bosra Sham Stakes at Newmarket. In 2002 we became the first racing yard in the country to gain Investors in People accreditation, an award for staff management, joining around 26,000 organisations nationally, including some of the biggest names in UK business, such as Sainsbury’s, McDonalds, British Sugar and TNT.
